At AMB Recruitment Group, we are working with a client who has a half-a-billion-pound turnover and invests so much in their people. They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, to learn, develop, and grow with them!
  
This will be to work on a Project in Local to the Bristol Area but you will organization yourself between Office, home, and on-site. The offices are based in Bristol. 
  
They are looking for an ambitious individual with long-term goals to help take the organisation to its next evolution phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct price comparisons from various suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to prepare subcontract orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of subcontract payments, ensuring timely processing and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Source quotations from suppliers/vendors that offer the best value and quality, considering project requirements and specifications.
  • Present quotation costs to the Senior Quantity Surveyor for review, authorization, and feedback.
  • Input accurate cost data for subcontractors into relevant systems or databases.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all cost-related transactions and documentation.
  
Skills And Experience:
  • hold a BTEC / A ‘Level or have demonstrable experience in a relevant/related field and are passionate about a career within Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience working within Quantity Surveying, you’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and numeracy skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also a must.
  
Remuneration:
  • Salary DOE 
  • Annual Discretionary Bonus
  • 25 days per annum + all bank holidays + Additional holidays based on services.
